Smartpack has now launched a custom made outdoor kitchen made in the material called Nuvex.
As a follower of Smartpack we offer you the following technical specifications on this relatively new material which is used in Toilet partitions, playground equipment and outdoor furniture but we believe we are the first to offer outdoor custom made kitchens in this material.
The Nuvex product is 19mm polyethelyne and is manufactured utilising recycled post-consumer and industrial waste (from 35-70% of total raw material inputs depending on colour) and 100% recyclable at end of life. It is Ecospecifyer approved.

Unlike almost all other generally available kitchen materials it uses no wood/timber and no formaldehyde inputs for it’s manufacture. It is suitable for use on GBCA Greenstar projects to achieve credit points for MAT8, IEQ11, IEQ12, IEQ13 and IEQ14 categories.

There are six colours available and the kitchen settings are custom made with kickboards doors and benchtops made out of Nuvex panels with a can and dowel system which does not rust. The Hettich hinges and drawer runners unfortunately are made of steel but are inside the cabinets are not exposed to the weather. These can however be changed over very easily if they do show signs of rust.
The complete package is affordable price considering that it is completely waterproof and UV resistant.
